When popping baby kings, can females have small looking hemipenis' that pop out? Or would that likely be a male?

Females have tiny red dots that are their scent glands maybe? It's distinctively different than the hemipenes which literally pop out like tiny tubes. If you see the red dots then you're good to know its a female.

females have tiny red dots where the hemipenes are. Males have small clear hemipenes.
If done right, everting (popping) can be reliable. But it can be done poorly. One famous breeder of kings, has sent me, most males, when ordering pairs. They always made it right, but it seemed they were poor at everting, or careless.
Some snakes, and most varanids, are different and both sexes evert the same until the beginning of sexual maturity.(aprox)
Remember, if it everts, its a male, if not, it may still be a male. If unsure, try probing. Best wishes
My two cents, I try to pop each snake and if nothing pops I probe to be sure. With every snake.
