These things take time but they are worth the effort to get there.
In 2010 my only adult female Prodigy, and currently the only adult female Prodigy on the planet, was bred by a Hypo Motley and produced a perfect litter of Motleys and Hypos each Het for Prodigy T-Positive. Here is the female Prodigy gravid about half way through her gestation period.

She was nice enough to have all those babies right at the front of the cage and in the middle of the day so I could get great pictures of all the action.

Here is a shot of the Father of this litter of hets above:

Then yesterday I had a litter I had great anticipation for.
When I came upon this birth, the Momma, which is the sister of the Prodigy female and simply Het Prodigy, had already given birth to about 15 babies. They were over on the right side of this image. I watched her for about 15 minutes as it looked like she was trying to maneuver the last third of her body toward the left where she ultimately ended up for this picture. It was then that she just continued what she had started. After seeing the first roughly half of the babies, I realized the Hypo Het Prodigy apparently was not as good at delivering his genetic material as was the Motley Het Prodigy that made these babies.
I really wanted to get a picture of a Prodigy Motley being born.

Note; This picture includes something that some of you have never ever seen. That golden globe over on the right? Well that is a new "Golden LED Light" I have in development for the Reptile trade. ;-]

Then the fog began as I was taking pictures without even looking at the view finder.

I did get the shot of the Prodigy Motley being born, but I might have a hard time proving that in a court of law. Here is that shot. ;-[

Then I cleaned off the lens when I notice it was fogging up...

A large litter but a Het to Het breeding resulting in only three Prodigy Motleys, but three more than I stared the day out with. ;-] This is the one I photographed while being born.

I didn't really know how the Motley and the Prodigy would be expressed together. But I must admit I am not disappointed in the least.

It is a good day to be a Boa guy.
