How big is too big?

blueta Oct 07, 2003 07:03 PM

I'm planning on getting a baby cham. at the next hamburg show. Still deciding between panther/veild/jacksons. Anyway, I have a HUGE custom cage made without a front. It's escape proof though. The enclosure is actually made into my wall. I origionally made it for a pair of carpet pythons I have, but went with vision cages for them. It measures about 8' high, by 4' wide, by 4' deep. Would this be overwhelming for a baby cham? I plan to put a tree in there for it to climb on. I'll probably lose it

most baby chams should be kept in a screen cage about 15x15x24 at the most ... that cage you have is perfect for an adult however!

because most baby chams WILL NOT sup feed, your cham will starve to death ... even so, if it falls, it will get super injured or die, just not a good idea
