"Your test is useless"
- Actually, it's not MY test. Everybody that has done it that I know has found it enlightening. It has nothing to do with any war, or any current situation, it simply shows you where you stand in relation to certain political leanings.
"Your bashing of two admirable Americans didn't go unnoticed"
- Well, I'm sorry if two facts insult you. The fact that Churchill though chemical weapons were great doesn't overcome me with pride. Neither does the fact that my government has developed biological and chemical weapons. But they're facts of life. It wasn't a shot at anyone. I could have used the Nelson Mandela references, or Mother Teresa's, but seeing that most users here are US, and I am from the UK, I chose those 3 examples. If you find truths rude, or insulting, well don't look at me. If Martin Luther hated Jews, is that my fault? How am I insulting you? If I said Hitler hated Jews am I insulting Hermann? If George Bush wrote what he wrote, then I apologize. If Churchill thought that Hitler was a great leader in 1937, then that is history. My point was, and it's a HUGE glaring one that you have missed, that history shows us some interesting lessons. That ideas change. People change. Societies change. But things take time!
"You keep trying to get the approval of Americans here for your insulting comments"
- Approval? Hmmm, no, it was a test. A look at YOURSELF! I did the test a few days ago and found it interesting. Pardon me for sharing!
"By the way, although your discussion with Froggy below was polite and civil, you still accomplished nothing"
- it's not about accomplishing something! We had what is known as an adult discussion. What do you expect to accomplish here? Do you think other users are trying to accomplish something? No, it's called a DISCUSSION. We are not politicians. We are not making the decisions. But we can talk about them. And we can do so in a civil manner!
"If you remember, YOU are the guy who wanted those same people to remain under Saddam's cruel dictatorship"
- Right.....yes, I forgot I thought Saddam was a saint. My problem is with the methods used here, and the lies told by our politicians. I agree that Saddam needed to be ousted, but I disagree with the methods used. Penny dropped yet? Can you understand that?
