Litter 14: Brazilian BCC - First Shed

lrdj Sep 12, 2013 10:35 AM

Sharp Brazilian x Hammond Line Brazilian

Sire....

Dam....

Progenies....

Here is more on the breeding.........

Born 9/1/2013 here in the PIT on a breeding partnership (Legacy Reptiles and Perfect Predators). Although we did all the heavy lifting we cannot thank enough Perfect Predators for the opportunity. We are very excited and wanted to share this awesome litter nonetheless.

Picture may look a little blurry as the camera was not handy....cell pic...

Breeding....

Dam - Hammond Line Brazilian (Owner: Perfect Predators) - Born in 2005? (first time producing a litter).
Sire - Sharp Brazilian (Owner: Legacy Reptiles) - Born September 11, 2001.

A perfect litter with 14 neonates.....however; two of the neonates were suffocated by the female during parturition.

Dam.....

Picture at day 70...

Picture taken on her due date (8/30/13)....

Sire...

Breeding Trials....

Outcome.... Large neonates avg. 122 g

In the following pictures you can witness the dam sitting on top of two neonates. It is unfortunate that we were not within the premises to assist her during parturition.

Thanks for looking!

What a nice breeding of Brazilians. Your babies are really thick. If you go down on the the forum page and check my het albino breeding out you can see my little ones are not near as thick. I'm anxious for mine to shed so I can get a meal in them. At any rate congratulations the colors and markings on those Brazillians are screaming hot. You done GOOD! Richard
