HELP, sick crested gecko!!? HELP

mike7934 Oct 07, 2003 07:58 PM

I just got a crested gecko on sunday. it is a tiger phase i think. it's a light brown with some stripes. it's a juvenile about 4 inches. He just changed colors today. he went from a light brown to a gray color. it looks like he's going to shed but i'm not sure. can anyone tell me when he's like that. i dunno if it's because of stress from the move. he's in a 10 gallon tank with places to hide and a water dish. please help.

Thanks
mike.

Well he sounds like he is just going to shed. Mine always gets really dull in color before she sheds. I hope that is all that is going on. Good luck with your new crested gecko!

Mike I would not worry. Crested geckos change shades of color all the time and it is a very good possibility he is going to shed soon (almost milky like appearance). Since your new too this drop me an e-mail and I will send you a complete interactive guide that will answer all your husbandry questions. Best of luck wit the new addition.
