good greens, like collard, mustard, small amounts of kale, romaine, even a bit of spinach(not a lot) mixed with finely chopped carrots, greenbeans, sweet pototes, snow pea pods, squashes, pumpkin and sometimes add a bit of fruit.
If they are under 4 months we give them crickets 2 times a day, all they can eat in 10 minutes, after their salads in the morning and their salads are availabel to them all day, mid afternoon they also get pellets (rep-cal).
Dust their crickets every other day for one feeding and make sure the calcium has D3, we also dust one every 3-4 days with mineral. We cut back on the dusting as they grow or spend more time outside.
Follow that and your beardie should grow to the maximum size possible or him/her as long as you have good light exposure and proper temperature. It's not just one thing, it several proper husbandry things in their care that make them healty and content beardies.
IF they are not growing and eating like they should, always get a fecal check from your vet.
Color will come out as they shed if they are happy and content and their needs being met
