Those are some absolutely gorgeous photos of fantastic subjects!
I liked them all of course, but the last one with those cherry red markings is my favorite!

What he's said. Folks like you and Crimson King and a few others have a real gift.

Very nice.

This is my best looking Pyro. A real sweet tempered animal. I would LOVE to have pics like yours of her some day instead of my Iphone photos and ho-hum digital attempts. You have some Awesome pics there.

Thanks for the compliment. I think the shots turned out well, but I wish some of the snakes would have been more cooperative. I was hoping to get full body shots, but you take what you can get sometimes.

I have no formal photo training so I think it just takes a little reading and a lot of practice.

Well, my friend, you have outdone yourself. Those pics really are amazing.

As I said . AWESOME pics.

Any suggestions for those of us that would like to do something better? Lol is that a white box you have them in to photo?

Macro lense, 35mm camera rather than the little digital cameras folks like me use?

My iphone is just so convenient because I have it with me all the time but of course the quality isn't anything wonderful....

Great pics though. Nice to see folks doing it real well.

Thanks Bob.

Equipment: Canon T2i DSLR, Tamron 90mm macro lens, tripod, no flash, halogen daylight bulb natural sunlight, two pieces of white poster board for bottom and background

Last but not least you need a cooperative snake. I can't help you with that

BobS Sep 29, 2013 10:09 PM

Thanks. You get some Awesome results with that stuff!

Thanks Bob. I go herping quite a bit too. I'll post a few of those photos later this week. I found a lot of different species this year.
