Here is one of this year litters I haven’t shown.
Pitaya het T blonde x pitaya het T blonde, I haven’t been lucky since I did not hit the super pitaya T . I got super pitayas 66% het T blonde, T pitayas and ....
Here is one of the super pitayas, check the colors on the sides of the tail, it’s the first super with that color.
To compare, here is how the classic super pitaya tail colors are. (this year, pitaya x super pitaya litter)
Here is classic pitaya 66%.
Another pitaya very clean with a more extreme pink.
Now to compare here I got something new in that litter, the same kind of extreme red orange the super pitaya have on the side of the tail but diffused on the whole body for some of the pitayas, about 20% of the babies from that litter are like that.
Here are 4 of them.
I don’t know yet if we are dealing with polygenisme or another gene, on some it has modified the pattern,... time will tell.
Even if they all stay home. I will bring 1 or 2 of them for the snake day in Houten next month, so one can see that they are that red and even even nicer in real !!
I just can’t imagine how the khal albinos version will be and no need to plug hypo in them.
Thanks for looking
Alain H.
