baby beardie update

aaronb716 Oct 07, 2003 08:35 PM

well, took all your advice about feeding 12 pinheads a day to my baby dragon and i guess its sorta worked but he still hungry and eats the musterd greens then basks but i know he still wants more crix because any time he sees a plastic bag he runs at the glass thinking its feeding time, so i decided to by crix and mealworms from reptile food.com so ill be able to offer more crix at a time to him.... PS i was wondering is there a way to tell the age of a beardie by its lanth, my baby is 9 inches long and the pet store never told me the little guys age, so what age is a 9 inch dragon usally? THANKS

Also, be careful with the mealies; their exoskeleton can cause impaction in dragons if fed too large or too many.
