Breeding Hyla leucophyllata (Clown Tree Frogs)

rockrox83 Oct 07, 2003 10:34 PM

Hey I'm wondering if anyone out there has had success in breeding these awesome little tree frogs and if so could you provide a little information so I can attempt to breed them (ie tank set-up and how breeding was enticed and if available how to differentiate between male and femal) Thanks.

H. ebraccata is a very closely related species so I would imagine they are similar. Here is a website that should have some CBs soon:

The guy who owns the site is pretty nice. Its also nice to see CBs instead of the usual WCs... I know I'm looking foreward to getting some! I had WCs at one time and that was just to much to handle... hardy frogs once you treat them tho.
