what a day!

i've only had to wait for a chameloen to come in the mail twice(second time today)but i HATE it! the UPS guy came late and spent the whole day pacing waiting for her(my new girl)to come, think the absolute worst the whole time. anyway she came and is a certainly beautyand is more colorful then i thought she'd be.she is kind of a peachy orange. i did make a change to my plans for my chameleon tent i nthe garage...i ta;ked my wife in to letting my set up the cages and lights in the dining room! lol so while i waited today for my new girl i took the dinner table out to the garage and moved my tables, lights, and cages into the kitchen! lol i think it actually looks nicer then whern the dinner table was there! i have threee cages in there and my nosey be cross, the one i've had in still in the living room but once my new misting system comes i'll move him into the dining room with the rest. while i did this my wife took the new sambava and the 2 flapnecks she got last night to the vet in yorba linda(Dr. Tom Greek). he said eveything looked good but we needed to get a fecal done, but he told my wife she could do that at her office(my wife works at their emergany clinic at a different localtion though). my new girl was suppose to go today as well but didn't make it and is scheduled to go on thursday. tonight we went and got pinheads and ordered fruit flies from the new reptile shop in town. we have gone from 1 chameleon last friday to 5 today. i still have one more to get!

It's amazing how fast a collection can grow. Mine has gone from 6 to 11 to currently 16 and after this weekend it will be 19 (hopefully the final number for awhile). Where in Southern Cali are you located? Just curious because Im in Yorba Linda and also use Dr. Greek (as do the Kammers) and like to know all the reptile nuts in the area

ah, your not too far from me. my ex lived off of Lincoln in Corona. Right now they are all in the living room, I have 4 4' tall enclosures for males plus three smaller cages on top of a huge gecko rack and Im putting up another 10 cages on a shelving system against the side wall. Add to that the 6' long melamine cage that the males cages sit on, the 3 vision vivariums, a 150 gallon reef tank, and 4 4' melamines that house my beardeds and some geckos and we have one crowded living room. I also house 4000 crickets and a cockroach colony in there. Thank god my future mother in law likes me and that she loves chameleons or else theres no way she would have let me get all this stuff. Between my fiance and I we have about 100 reptiles. If your ever in the area let me know and I can give you the tour
