Hey Dennis yes I have an adult mosaic female, as well as a Mosaic female from this year that is het ghost. Also have a bunch of het ghosts, het coral ghosts, some lavender snows, lavenders, ghosts and a pink pearl ghost (lavender X ghost) that I'm raising up. Plus some more breeders I need pics of... too many snakes for real.

Thanks yeah the light phase ghosts are incredible... less than a handful of them exist and I produced what might be the nicest one yet earlier this year. Should have more of those and some corals in 2014.

What do you mean by 'light phase'? Is it based on the amount of white or is it that the dark pigments are lighter than normal?

"Normal" ghosts (dark phase) are like brown and purple colored in my experience. The light phase ghosts are grey with black pattern... and not very much pattern at all. The light phase came from dark phase but they look nothing alike nor do they behave the same, any dark phase ghost I ever had was extremely skittish. I kind of think the light phase ghost is a completely new morph that was hidden in dark phase.

I cant wait to see what I get when I breed the 2.10 babies I held back this year, the light phase male fathered and there was 3 different moms..

Actually the light phase Ghost cal king is a result of breeding a High White into the Ghost line....... thus producing hets for Ghost. When bred back some of the offspring were Ghost (recessive) that were showing high white (aberrant).

Makes sense, I got a couple babies this year that were high white. So you bred a high white to a dark phase ghost, and then in 2010 you bred the babies together and got the 2 light phase? Whats your light one looking like these days?

I bred an albino high white male to my female Ghost (het albino). I kept a few of the offspring....some were albinos (het Ghost)......it was from there that the Light Phase Ghost came from. I since sold those breeders.

The Dark Phase Ghost (different than a regular Ghost) just popped up one day, but may have had the Mendota influence as I had that (hypermelanistic) in the mix as well.

I sold all the Light Phase Ghost as I produced them but one that I kept, not realizing how cool they were.

With some effort the Light Phase Ghost can be line bred for extremes as well as with the Dark Phase Ghost.
