Hi, I just got my sulcata a week ago, it's a little over a year old. Its lower beak rubs against the upper part and makes a hard clicking sound when I feed him dry grass hay, because it's so tough. Is this good/bad/normal?

It is hard to say without seeing the tortoise's mouth, but it is normal sometimes to hear a clicking sound. If the mouth is over grown, you may want to file it down yourself very carefully, or take it to the vet to be trimmed. Another solution is to feed the tortoise on a smooth, clean stone or use cuttle bone.
Best wishes with your tortoise!
