O.T. but have to share..

I took my son to see the Broadway play The Lion King. If any of you ever get the chance, it's an experience you won't soon forget. Whoever designed the costumes, which were half people half puppet was brilliant.
I'm including a link with a quick intro, but it shows several of the people/puppets.
Sorry for the O.T. but it's one of those things that is so awsome I want people to see if they have the opportunity.
It's the shock and awe of plays...

my dad took me to see beauty and the beast when i was about 17 i think, it was great, too bad i was sorta sick that day. have also seen a bunch of other things like, cats, phantom of the opera, les miserables (which is by far my favorite), joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat, and a few smaller productions. lemme tell ya, im not the theatre going type, but all those productions are far better then any movie you could watch, they are just amazing. i reccomend them to anyone, if i can enjoy a night at the theatre, certianly anyone can

I just couldn't get over the mechanics of the people/puppets. There was sooo much more then the featured characters.
Upon opening, a HUGE bigger then normal elephant walked up on the stage. The farting wart hog and hyenas were really a hoot too. The floor opened and huge plants, pressured by air, bloomed from the ground. I spent much of the time trying to figure out the mechanics of how everything was working.
the live music was great too.
The bonus was seeing it at the Fox Theatere (probably 100 yrs old), lots of carved wood on ceiling and walls and marble pillars etc.
