Do we know the reasons that the WTC was attacked, the real reasons, was it revenge or just an attack to prove something.

I think it is a terrible shame that this goes on in these times and I really do feel for the families who have lost loved ones and friends.

Do we know why this would happen

The bombing ot the WTC was a result of a warped mind, and a misguided religion. Unconditional hatred for Americans is the theme song for some highly "religious" (criminal) fanatics in the Middle East. Before you go on and make a bigger a$$ of yourself here: NO, WE HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING TO PROVOKE THAT ATTACK AND NO, NEITHER THE VICTIMS OF 9/11 NOR THEIR RELATIVES DESERVED ANY OF THE HELL THEY SUFFERED. And, in response to 9/11 you would have to be a horses a$$ to suggest the Bush didn't have every reason in the world to set out and eliminate each and every Middle Eastern fanatic who vowed "death to America". That's exactly what he's done, and look at the level of idiocy displayed here in the unjustified criticisms by you and your Socialist invertebrates.

I'm sure Herpes will chime in here with his usual nauseating suggestion that Americand need to understand WHY the terrorists killed approximately 3,000 of our own. Nice guy! As for you Steve, your anti-American track record undermines the innocent tone of your question. Why don't you knock off your B.S. and grow up?

i believe that it was an attack of jealousy, hatred, and just to prove that we were not invincible. i also believe that the attack was meant to tear us apart, but as you can see all it did was awake a sleeping dragon. usama bin laden was trained by americans to lead the taliban to fight the russian and stop them from invading afghanistan along time ago. then when he wasnt getting attention from us, he got jealous and decided to declare islamic jihad against christianity, and mainly western society. you see we shave, drink, bath, wacth porn, marry only one woman, and treat our women with respect...all of wich are forbidden in the koran.

yes UBL was our "ally" at one time but like children when a new baby comes into the house and gets all the attention he gets jealous and throws a temper tantrum...which he has been doing for a while now, starting with Kobar Towers and all the embassy bombings, the USS cole, and finally the WTC towers. But before all the terror and he was ousted out of Saudi Arabia for plotting attacks on the western societies...banned from your place of birth, thats bad. then when the "alliance" of the US and KSA (Kngodom of Saudi Arabia) he was insanely jealous and swore to get revenge. well thats the way i understand it.

personally i think he is a coward, hiding in caves, if he is still alive. havent heard much from him and it used to be every week we got a tape. well like i was saying he is a cowardly man with a butt load of money, and a goal to make all life for americans and american supporters a living hell. i believe he would have succeeded if Bush had not stepped in. well enough of the rant i will step down now
