I wanted to ask if you see the scarlet kingsnake now and than (CB) or is it very secretive?

I ask as interested in them ?

Scarletking snakes are secretive, but at the right time of year they can be quite common.

Thank you very much, I apologize because I meant as captive snakes do you see them much or mostly a hide type snake.

I am actually in Florida but interested in the Carolina scarlet king as find they have more white.

Funny thing is that in the 5 years which I have lived in Florida , while fishing by a lake I go too ,I have seen 4 coral snakes eating (3 eating little dekay snakes) but no scarlet kings.

They do move around in the container at night. but they are one of the most secretive of all the snakes.
