how can you tell about how old a ball is?

if my ball is 22" long and weighs around 300g, how old is he approximatly. i have had him almost a month and the pet store had him for almost a month. so i dont really know about how old he is other than about 2 months on my part. thanks for the help.

I've always found the easiest way to be cutting them in half and then counting the rings...or was that trees? HAHAHA

It's really hard to tell. It's possible you have an early hatchling that's eating incredibly well, or you could have a yearling that's doing maybe just a bit behind the average. My guess would be that it's an '02 baby, but I'm not an expert by any means.

all i know is he is eating 2 adult mice every 4-5 days but i am going to try and switch him to weanling rats on his next feeding. so i hope that it will work out. he has eaten rat pups before i just bought mice instead. dont know why but i will see if he will eat them this time.
