Hi, I have a corn snake that is about 9 months old and I just moved into a new apartment. When I moved to the new place, I also moved him into a bigger cage. He was on the brink of shedding since his skin turned dull, and I figured the transition to the new apartment and the new cage would lessen his appetite. I am getting slightly worried though because aside from the one fuzzy he ate on the second night at the new place, he hasn't eaten and it has been just over 1 week. He has been pale in color and with the opaque eyes for over a week as well and his skin looks like it needs to shed very very soon. Should I be concerned? Is there anything I can do to stimulate his appetite? I am worried because his new cage has one of those reptile heating pads underneath, but it doesn't seem to heat the cage except directly above the spot. His old cage had a heating pad under it and kept most of the cage rather warm. Any help?
Thanks
Jen
