I've been hearing all sorts of rumors regarding a ban of Corucia zebrata. Depending on the source it's either import that is banned, or export from the Solomons.

Am I correct in assuming that an import ban would be the result of USFW refusing to issue permits and that an export ban would be the result of a CITES change? Are there other alternatives?

If this ban does in fact exist, I assume there would be a record of it somewhere, but I can't find one. Nothing in CITES press releases, still listed as App. II on the website, not on the IUCN red list, nothing in the Federal Register from USFW.

Does anyone know the facts about this, or where they could be found?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
