i am so upset....

fruitionx Oct 08, 2003 12:44 PM

Hey i never thought this would happen to me since i keep all my geckos in very secure tanks. but this morning i went to check and see how they were doing and i coulcnt find my new hypo tang female. i looked but then i really had to go since i was late for school. all day i have been thinking about her and have no idea how she did this. the only thing i can think of is if she jumped out somehow....this is a 10 gallon tank and i actually did not have the lid on all the way since i had just cleaned it and the humidity was high so i let the lid open a little, but i have no idea how she did it, i hope thta she is just hiding really well under the moss or soemthing but i have a feeling that is not the case. i closed my door and put a towel under the door so she cant get ot and i am going to search high and low when i get home...what else can i do???
Thanks....

but I'm not sure it will work (I've never owned any leos yet). What if you tried leaving a bowl of mealies on the ground (or some other favourite treat) and see if she'll come out to eat any. If she's wandering around, she'll eventually get hungry.
Just a thought. Good luck.

Hope this helps

Hi!

Leopardgeckos love warm pleases. so look at every warm place in your room, like on the computer ore back of the tv.
One trick I have read about is that on the night you can lay some flour on some papper on the floor and have worms in the middel. in the morning you can see if she has been there and in what room she is hiding. Of corse you should have every door closed.

My Erik I found in the laundry under his terrerie.

Realy hope that you find her!

How are you??? Well, lets see...

1) The love to hide under the fridge.
2) Look in all the corners of your house that you can imagine.

I am sure you will find her. Just, be sure that everyone knows in the house that you lost her...so they are careful...

I lost one of my leos too just the other day. I'm still looking for him. He's only 4 inches long.
