I need some help with moss for my tank; first of all, what is the best type to get? I have used sheet moss before in a previous tank and was not happy with the results. It grew well for a while but then all of a sudden died off; what could have been the cause for this?
Would it be OK for me to just go out into the woods and take some moss from there? I have seen plenty while hiking but am not sure if it has been sprayed with anything, should I assume its OK but soak it in water for a couple of days or just not use it at all?
