Hi!

I give my femals pinkys when they are giong to lay eggs. Makes the eggs stonger. I dont think you shall give you small geckos pinkeys!
I dont know if the bark chips you have are good for your geckos. But I dont think it is good. They can easy get impaction. I dont recomend the bark. They can think it is food and then they cant get it out.
someone else how knows if bark chips is good ore bad?

Bark chips are not a good substrate choice for leopards. Paper towels or newspaper would be much safer, and they make cleaning the cages very easy. Pinkies are fine for adult geckos, but it’s not ok for that to be their main diet. I feed pinkies to my adults 2 times a month, the rest of the time they eat crix and mealworms. It would be best wait until they are full-grown before offing pinkie mice. Good luck!

Hello!

First of all, I would take them off the bark chips. There is a risk of impaction if they swallow some, plus the stuff holds in humidity a little too well for them, if it ever gets wet. If they are adults I would switch em over to fine sand, or cage carpet. Just to be safe!

Second, pinky mice are ok to feed IF the geckos are big enough. also, they are not as a staple food and should be fed very sparingly, like one pinky every 3 weeks or so since they are so high in fat. But they are definately not necesary.

Be careful, when males are housed with only one female, he tends to stress her out too much by constantly trying to breed with her. If i were you I would add one or two more females to the tank (if the tank is big enough. a 20 long is good for 1.2 or 1.3 leos, in my opinion) to reduce the possible stress on just one female, or seperate them. Good luck! =)
