I have just purchased a new house. I have a 30*22 outbuilding that is my new snake room. I am going to use R-30 in the walls and R-60 on the ceiling. I live in Northern Indiana, so the winter will be cold. I am looking for some ideals on the best and most efficient way to heat the room. I am looking to heat the room to about 85 degrees consistently. I will have ceiling fans to circulate the air around.
Some of my ideals
1. A couple of radiant electric heater (I think it will be too expensive)
2. Propane heater
3. Floor mat heater (Not to big on this one. From the reviews it does not seam to last to long and I am not ripping up a perfectly good floor.)
I am looking for input from your experiences.
