i forgot to say that when i put him in water the ashy look on his head went away but not on his eyes
it will just be some skin that dident come off when he shed thats all. just put him in a box(with ventalation)with a wet towel in with him. Leave it over night in a warm part of the tank and the skin should have come of in the morning, it works with myn 100% of the time.
but i checked his head shed when he was done and he didnt retaine his eye spectacles it all came off in one piece. so that shouldnt be skin should it?
um i dont whats up then but id try the towel thing anyway just to see what happens
ok i'll do that. so i just put a wet towle in a box on the hot side of his cage with a lid that has holes poked in it? could it be that i have well water instead of city water?
yeh the towel things right oh oh lets do a experiment with acid water and alkali water and see if it helps them to shed or not!
i was told that well water is fine to use. when i first got him i bought evion water for him but then i was told that well water is ok so i swithed to that
just use regular water. Spray his hideout, and get some spaghum moss. Dampen it with luke warm water, squeze out excess..place it in his hid. then spray the rest of the cage with a light coat of mist/spray. Im 90% sure this is a humidity problem. not a shed problem.
where can you get the moss stuff? i've heard of it but never seen it. when i got up this morning he looked alot better. thanks for the help
pet shop should have it.
