CA Super Motleys

e s tropicals Jul 29, 2014 06:51 PM

One super motley, one super motley caramel albino. Does anyone have any up to date info on the super motley mortality? From the old articles i've read they don't last past 2 years, and no one has produced from an adult super?

From what I know, there were a couple small litters produced by supers (super x non-super) a couple of years ago. I haven't read anything on those litters or if the adults recovered from breeding afterwords... or if they've been bred again or others have produced litters from supers.

It seems that CA supers live, despite obvious physical flaws while Col supers pass around 2 y/o. Not sure what exactly is being affected with the genes, but I'm going to give producing supers an attempt on a small theory I have.
