NEED HELP.......PLEASE

i just looked at my ball python and noticed that the right side of his head looks as if it is going to shed. it is only the right side of his head. his eye looks grey not blue. he just shed last week. it looks almost ashy. when i put him in water it goes away but comes back in about a minute

He might possible have a bit of shed still on his face.....keep soaking for now.

i checked his head shed and he shed it in one piece. he didnt retain his eye caps or anything

Do you have hard water? If it's between the scales a looks like pwdery white stuff, that's probably what it is...you can try using filtered water.

thanks. it probably is hard i have well water i'll go buy some spring water from the store
