Four More Guyana Supers Born today

kitchi Aug 26, 2014 05:08 PM

from my Deep Purple female, unfortunately, there were six stillborns (right side in the photo below) of which two were nice big supers. Two supers are alive but had external yolks that I pinched off and one is smaller than the rest of the litter. The other thing about this litter is that all but one of the others are laddertails. I have not checked to see how many are the "normal" ladder tails like the original Grandmother or the incomplete dominant ones like the original grandfather.

I have been following your posts about these for quite some time and have to say it's awesome how well you've documented everything and kept with this project over the years! All that time invested is now paying off big time for you! Congrats on another awesome litter! The Guyanese are beautiful to begin with but your project is really awesome! Those stripes are to die for! Keep up the great work and look forward to more posts down the road as these litters grow up! Thanks!
