i recently bought a midwest Standard Narrow Deep Hook 40" and am looking to add a new pair of tongs also. i currently have a pair of regular aluminum standard snake tongs i got from the snake farm in New Braunfels, TX nothing fancy just some basic tongs .
i was originally going to go with the standard gentle giant 40" tong to replace the ones i have now but i found some other tongs by a company called animal equipment by stoney and am interested if any of you have used these and how they compare to other tongs. they have an angled grip supposedly for better control and a plastic jaw which is of course to be better for the snake. are there any others i should look at before i buy one of these.
