Does anyone have trouble finding a vet for their herps or have to travel far to get to one? I'm starting vet school and I wanted to specialize in exotics. Trying to find out if there's enough demand for it to be reasonable since google doesn't seem to know.

There is def a need for more well trained exotic vets, especially reptile vets. Reptile medicine is in it's infancy. If you are considering moving ahead, asking for advice at the ARAV would be of help. They are the association of amphibian and reptile vets.
