Cinco de Mayo Fiesta

tcdrover May 05, 2015 11:16 PM

I need a siesta not a fiesta.

My first thoughts today when I saw these little guys was,
great a nice small litter, and the Male proved to be het for
Anery after all.

On second thought, there are a lot more little wigglers in there
than it looked like at first...

I forgot how much work this is...

Nothing extravagant, just Harlequin line Kahl Jungles in all flavors.
Both parents were born here so these are like my grandkids.

The dam is a paradox hypo harlequin kahl het that somehow also turned out to be an Anery het.
The sire is a Jungle Sunglow Anery het. Let me know what you think. Let's see those litters!

That's a sweet pile of babies! Nice surprise on the het anery part. Congrats.

Thanks, congrats to you Sir!

So, in order to get a prodigy you need both parents to be paradise boas?

I have a nice little paradise male that I bought at Daytona last year.

I was going to breed him to Sharp sunglows and Paradigm boas.

I wasn't aware that you could get prodigy boas from them.

You can get Prodigies from Paradises in Paradise x Paradise breedings, and Paradise x Prodigy breedings. In either case, the Paradise contributes a Prodigy gene 50% of the time.
