I am hoping to get a beardie next year sometime, I just want to get some ideas on the size and setup of their tanks. Thanks in advance.

Hopefully the link works. Just click on the link and scroll to the bottom of the page. Its a 50 gallon breeder that houses one male dragon. =)

Is that rock wall background real or is it a picture? If it's a picture then where did you find it at? I like it either way, nice setup.

Hello,

Its just a paper background. I got it at a local petshop, but I am pretty sure i saw the same one at Petsmart. I know Petco doesnt carry it, but check petsmart. It is double sided, the other side is a more brown rock wall with wood.

For a baby dragon I just used a 35 Gal long tank. I used a 3'x6" board over the top to attached the under cabinet 18" light fixture for the UVB tube. For a basking light I used a 75 W household bulb mounted in a hooded clamp lamp I bought at Canadian Tire. For substrate just paper towel.

The adult tank is 5'x2'x2' with a 4' double florescent light fixture and a 150W spotlight bulb and outdoor fixture. It cost me about $150 total, including lights and fixtures.

>>It is decorated a little diferently now but the platform, branch on the right and rock on the right are the same. I just have a different branch next to the platform. Dimmel likes to lay partially on her platform and partially on the branch.
