Wow! New "look" look good!

rottweilerdriver Mar 13, 2003 09:53 AM

Hey everyone! Please to see the new look of the Rottie FOrum Boards here! Debra, count me in that learning curve (HaHa!)
I think I like this new format and will try posting much more often here, as I am very dissapointed with AOL's "new" look and have a very hard time with it (vision wise) this one I hope to learn thoroughly, etc.
Debra, or any other computer knoweldgeable folks. Does this forum use HTML too? If so, how can I make my letters "bold" or Italicized? Can someone send me a "cheat sheet" of HTML codes? (Like etc, with explanations of what each does?)
I have a poor memory, any HTML "cheat sheets" are appreciated!
I also must add, what a WONDERFUL thing to drop on here and see MAX's gorgeous face on here!
I told him the good news, but he seemed rather 'non-plussed' and just decided to use my lap as a napkin after he had come from drinking alot of water. Nice to see 'fame' doesn't change him <G>
Warmly,
Jackie & Max

I think it's like HTML, but not exactly. I noticed you can't use two tags at the same time (such as bold and italicized) but otherwise the tags are the same. If you click on "Toys and Tools" at the bottom of the message page you can get a 'cheat sheet' of tags you can use here. Wait! Let me try putting the link here, LOL! Tools and Toys (I hope this works...:P)

HI Jackie and Melinda so glad to see you both.
You can use combination of html tags just be sure to put them outside the first one. Like for a bold color use first the bold html around your script then use the color around that. HI Ladies

I used some of my photo gallery space and up loaded them. Since they're small files they don't use up too much room.

New news for tools and toys
The instructions show that you can't use bold and italics together. BUT YOU CAN you just need to use them reversed from the example. Bold goes inside the italics then you will get both.
