To breed or not to breed, that is the question!

I was thinking of breeding small house geckoes for begginer pets, #1 theyre cheap to buy, #2 i can get them used to handleing before they are bought to create children to pet them. If i were to breed them i would probably only breed a few times with only one pair!I would be careful not to inbreed and sell the geckoes only as pets, not feeders, do any of you think this is a good or bad idea?I also respect any of your input for my further learning and commenceing the breeding of beginner lizards! Thanks!

Although I do not know actually how “tame” you can get a house gecko to be. They are small and high strung most of the time, so you got to be careful around kids. But hey anything is possible I had an Anole when I was a kid (my first herp ), and he would just relax with me, very un-anole like. Little guy also lived to the ripe old age of 13, which has got to be a record or something...lol . Best of luck to you!

the only thing I'd think about is...do you have the right resources to be able to feed the small babies? good luck
