Oscar lost some teeth

Oscar, my dachshund lost three teeth today. They were conected by what appeared to be part of his gum.He is 5 months old and I was wondering if this is normal.Thanks to anyone who replies.

Hi Tom,

I've never owned a puppy, but adopt adult dogs. However, I've never hread of any of the gum coming out with the teeth. I'm also a worry wart, so I'd give my vet a call and see what he/she says.
