Help!!!

Hey all you Doxie lovers out there! Cool new boards huh? I could really use some help, I have a 17 month old male mini, and although he has been pretty much housebroke, he still can't get it through his adorable stubborn little head that pooping is also meant for outside. He has no problem going to the door when he has to pee, and he has no problem peeing outside, but no matter how long you walk him for he will come back inside and poop. He gets taken out about half an hour after he eats and is taken out every 4 to 5 hours through the day. Is there any way he can be programed to poop outside? Help please!

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear of your problem. I'm afraid I don't do youngsters and I've never had this problem. Are you leash walking him for his business? Is the leash long or short. Maybe he doesn't like doing his business with you close by. Just some thoughts, since I really have no idea. If no one here can help you, I'd suggest posting to our Dog Training board.

Please come back and share some stories!
