i saw ur post at the old forum..wanted to respond

no offense intended..but i have been around 100% wolves and all contents of wolfdogs for over 21 years, im involved in wolfdog rescue operations and have a second high mid content wolfdog myself. you animal is not 100%. your animal is crossed with either husky or malimute, it does not resemble a pure wolf. maybe the breeder told you wrong, it appears to be mid content..breeders have a habbit of claiming higher content than actual blood line. that doesnt matter ...in the long run..the wolf genes make the trait of the dog.

i can show you plenty of 98% content wolfdogs...they look like pure wolves.........

i encourage everyone thats even considering owning a wolfdog...to do a search on the net...and read read read...all the pros and cons..... raising a wolfdog is a very trying demmanding chore......

50 t0 80 percent of all wolfdogs in the U.S. end up either dead or in rescue the first year........ this is a true number.. its gotten out of control due to the increasing amount of folks wanting to raise these animals without the knowledge to do it..

Thank you for your message... I also apologize for not having replied sooner... I just saw your message right now... I am a pilot in the Air Force, and I have been out of the country for a little while...
I understand what you're saying and, having the knowledge and experience that you have, I can't doubt you... All I am doing, is going by what the breeder explained to me, and what I saw from the parents of my Wolf...
So far, Shetani has been the best pet that I could have ever asked for... She spends more time inside of the house than outside, even though she has the door to go in and out as she pleases... The only problem with this is that the couch has become HER PROPERTY, and anyone must make sure that she doesn't want it before trying to sit on it...
I appreciate your comments and I can assure you that I have treated her well for the 2 1/2 years that I've had her, and I will continue to take care of her for the rest of her life... She will not be a statistic that you read about...
Thanks,

I kind of figured you might be the kind of person that would take on a wolfdog for life...... good stuff man!

be assured.. its good that your animal is not a high content ....especially full content (which are illeagal).. if it was... your house would be destroyed in no time inside...including the furniture... thats just their nature.

keep up the good work!
