Does anybody know how much you're supposed to feed a beagle? With rabbits, you feed them a certain ammount per pound. What about with beags?

Each bag of dog food should have a recommended allowance according to the weight of the dog.

For instance, a 20 lb dog should get 1.75 cups of Science Diet, and a 40 lb dog should get 2.25 cups.

I find that it is "dog-dependent." I have a 65 pound dog that gets only 2 cups a day of "lite" dog food. This is way less than the package suggests. You might try the amount on the bag, but watch the weight of your dog carefully---an obese dog is never good. You can talk with your vet about an appropriate weight for your dog.
