New GR arrives today!!!

**Bounces up and down like an excited child**

My new boy arrives today! I am so excited!!

He is thought to be about 5 years old, and the sweeetest dog I have ever met. My baby, Nicolas Dakota, has always been the most loving dog in the world and I wouldnt have ever thought it possible to find another dog that loving, but our new boy is even more loving!! Boy we have the most amazing children in the world, if I do say so myself, hehehe.

He was found wandering on the side of the road and rescued by the rescue group we are getting him from. He has definatly been abused, yet still is truely the most loving dog I have ever met.

We met him for the first time this weekend at his foster momma's apartment, and he litterally crawled into my lap and wrapped his whole body around me hugging me. He got along great with Nicolas as well.. and at one point while we were there visiting Nicolas got a drink of water and our new boy walked over and licked his face cleaning up all of the dripping water. Talk about sweet!!!

The rescue group named him 'Jack' but we are changing his name. We have narrowed it down to a few favorites but haven't decided for sure yet.

He is a dark red, instead of more of a golden orange like Nicolas is. His coloring reminds me a lot of an Irish Setter. He is also the cuttest Golden I have ever seen as far as his body goes... we think he is part Basset Hound or something, because he has very very short legs. He looks exactly like a Golden, just with shorter legs.

Anyways, his foster Momma is bringing him over at 1:00 today, and we are so excited!!! Only 3 more hours of pacing anxiously!

Well I finally picked the new dog's name!!

I have named him 'Buddy Bear'... who will be called Buddy for short.

Buddy.. because he is my buddy (friend)
and Bear because he is a big teddybear
...
He's my Buddy Bear!!!

My husband thought it was kind of silly at first, but now that he's thought about it even he thinks it's a cute name and perfect for him.

He is such an amazing dog! We have already fallen madly in love with him! I wish everyone could meet him in person because he is truly the most loving dog I have ever been around. And I thought Nicolas was a really really loving dog!

He is SO HANDSOME!! Your cat seems to like him too! Good luck with the little darling

Actually our cats are not really adjusted to him yet.

The picture there with the several pictures in one where there is a cat in one of them wasn't taken here. Like the caption said those were taken at his foster home, that isn't our kitty. *Smiles*
