Any experiences with the cane corso? I've wanted one for the last five years and finally feel I'm ready to own one.

No, but you might get some help in the APBT forum or the AB forum. Another bully breed...

Hi again. I surfed the web and found this link for the Internationl Cane Corso Federation www.canecorso.org/ which contains, among other things the link to the Cane Corso Standard www.canecorso.org/standard.htm, an article about shaping temperament: www.canecorso.org/temperament.htm and another about
common health problems [urlhttp://www.canecorso.org/health.htm[/url] This website is chock full of information you might want to pursue: History of the breed is another link (at the bottom of the main webpage)and a page called The Good, the Bad and the Ugly which compares good conformation to bad in pictures.
Enjoy and hope this all helps somewhat while we wait for Cane Corso owners. BTW, the National Specialty is being held pretty near me (in Upper Marlboro,MD - County seat of Prince George' County) on April 26-27th. If you are in the DC metropolitan area, you might want to visit and talk with breeders and showers (but after they are showing).
