DDBs in Austin

PHRottn &; Val...it was so nice meeting both of you at the show this weekend. I hope the two of you had fun!

I've seen DDBs out and about a few times but this was my first time 'up close and personal' with the big guys. They are such, such sweet dogs! I can certainly understand why you folks are so passionate about them. And Quest...what a handsome fella he is...that coat of his is absolutely gorgeous!

Anyway...thanks for inviting me to come out and meet y'all and your pups. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We were glad you made it! What a sweet person you are and the "big guys" thought you were nice too. I totally trust the response that dogs have to humans. They are really much better judges of character than we are.

Thank you so much for your kindness and helping me figure out how to get from the airport to the hotel. The information was perfect.

We had a fun time and it was just too cool meeting Val and the furkidz after knowing them online for 3 years.

We will be posting pictures as soon as we can get them uploaded and scanned. Purl took a Level 3 WD in obedience and passed her Temperment Testing this weekend. That was pretty great.

Topcat,
Sorry to be so late to reply. We loved having you there to show off my babies to. I am quite happy with both Purl and Quest and Purl not only took the High in Trial in obedience, she passed ehr temperament test and did a carting demo that turned out great.
Both dogs were so happy to get home and be able to run free in the yard after 8 days of never being off leash when they were outside. Plus the added bonus of mom letting them roll in the dirt<g>.
The canine facility there was the greatest and I am so jealous that I am not closer where I could have something like that to train at all the time.

Here is a link to the photo album that I put together of the events that Purl & Quest were in.
