I'm new to these forums and I'm a Border Collie owner!! I actually have one purebred and two Border Collie mixes!! Keeps me busy!!

hi there. I've got a border mix.. welcoem to the forum. It goes through slow times and busy time... but I keep checking back.

Well, so very happy to see some life back on this board! I have 1 BC. We also have 2 GSD's. But the BC is "my boy!" He has 2 obedience titles and we're workng towards the 3rd. What activities do you do with your dogs? Doesn't have to be "official" -- just anything. Atticus loves agility too- but we won't ever be able to compete in it cuz of me, not him.
He gets so excited when he just sees the equipment being put up he'll do the first few obstacles without me! Great for his self confidence, too. Let's see if we can get some more people active in here! Nice to see you guys...... Nancy

Well, I gotta brag. . .the Border Collie at the top of this page is my lil girl! Isn't she cute! This was when she a puppy. I'm attaching a picture of her at her first agility trial going through the weave polls.

We have a border collie/pit bull mix and she is the sweetest dog alive. Loves the child care kids and worries about them whenever she hears one cry.

Well she's faster through weave poles than Atticus! But that's ok- he does them with ease and accuracy- just slowly! lol
Charlene- I jst have to tell you that the quote at the end of your messages rather startled me! I just wrote the same quote down so that I would be sure to remember it in the future. Have no recollection of where I found it, but it is a lovely quote! Had to share! Nancy

LOL! Faster is not always better! My Chesapeake is slow but very percise. . .my BC gal is very fast but not always accurate!

As to the quote. . .believe it or not, I read it in one of my historical romance novals. . .just don't ask me which one, I can't remeber! LOL!

I love to watch the border collies in the agility shows. Wow, they are awesome at that!
