Hi, Im a new member too!

My lab is 1 1/2 and was a model of genius when it came to house training. IT took about 2 weeks and viola, he was trained! It did help that there was a doggie door and he could go out with out someone opening the door for him. When he had to go, he just went out. But NOW is a different story. He has started marking in the house. I know its because he is not neutered, but this is a bred pointing lab, (yes, he actually points naturally, the under curled paw, low head, stone still stance, everything, untill released) and many of my friends are waiting to get puppies in another year or so when I start breeding him. Im sure I want one of his puppies too. its either breed him or spend another house payment getting another pup! Oh well for now he is a mostly outside dog. (I let him in in the evenings but my wife doesnt work and he used to be able to come and go as he wanted) I know its not a disease problem because he doesnt go when Im home. He never marks when Im home (unless im asleep). Oh well, its just some more work to do before hunting season!
