>>My dog would sound like a 12-13 yr old with severe ADD or like a kid born "under the influence of something heavy". He is a little out there. {large snip of main body for the moment} Who does your dog actlike
Amber can be a real brat....smart as a whip and an opportunist. She snatched a ham sandwich from an inattentive friend who was visiting and holding it up and made the mistake of turning her head away to talk to my Lab Natasha. Amber nailed the sandwich and it was gone in two gulps. For that, she got the punishment corner. So, last night she was acting part cobra and part professional pickpocket. Natasha, OTOH, is submissive, gentle and failing in health. Think a sweet and long-suffering invalid who has one foot in the next world and one foot still here (or is that two in each world?) A saint, in other words.
I have been waaaaay busy. I just got back tonight about 30 min ago. I went home to So. Cal for 3 1/2 weeks. I enjoyed it. I brought the dog for the ride. He almost enjoyed it more than I did if not more. He seemed like he was at a dog resort. The temps back home got no higher than 78 and no lower than 63-64. He would hang out in the sun and destroy the neighbor boys balls as they cmae over the fence. From those big giant red dodge ball type balls to the wiffle balls. I brought him to the beach a few times and he figured out that all the ocean tastes the same regardless of where he drinks it. I wish I could write more but I am tired as hell. I woke up yesterday at 7:00 to S&S (you know Sh&^ and Shower) and left for Long Beach at about 10:30am. It normally takes 1-5hrs depending on traffic and where you started. I got there after briefly running into hard spots but got through. I picked up several shirts, pants, and shorts then met up with some friends. Before departing I went to get some REAL Mexican food as they don't exist out here. The locals call it Tex Mex which is nothing close not to mention the prices are just straight crazy. So I stuffed my face and bought some extras back to store and mack when I am relapsing for some good ol' fashion Mexicana Comida. Anyways, I left there at 3:45 got back to San Diego at about 7:30 due to everybody getting off work. It felt good to be back home in the traffic though. Out here they complain about the traffic (like there is any) and the high gas prices like there is any of each. I have been up for almost 48 hrs as it is 3.45am sun when I left fri at 7 o'clock and am going to crcrash any secnd si I btter go................
Yes, you have been busy! Good for you for stocking up on REAL Mexican food. To me, real Mexican can range from Sonoran to Mayan to Gulf of Mexico-ocean....there's a lot of regional cooking which is purely delicious and rarely comes out as an "export" unless someone emigrates who keeps up his/her regional cooking. Around here, what they call Mexican is about as Mexican as Taco Bell. LMAO!! But I know how to cook pretty decent food, having traveled in Mexico and gotten hands-on lessons from locals.
