At what age is it optimum that you can first stud a male yorkie? I've heard of some people going over board and doing this every other weekend (exaggeration) I wouldn't ever do something like that but I am interested in studding out my boy before hes neutered, and keeping one of his pups. Personally, I think twice per bitch. But then I don't stud my dogs out to the public so its only my girls that get bred.
I think every other weekend may be pushing it, but I've heard of breeders who didn't even take that much time off. They'd have bitches in all the time, and breeding their males to two and three bitches a week.
Like I say, I wouldn't do it with mine.
