My new baby...

CherylG May 19, 2003 01:31 PM

I got my baby Yorkie (Maverick) last week. He is absolutely gorgeous and has already learned to "sit". I do have one concern, though. I took him to the Vet when we first got him & he passed his check-up with flying colors. Yesterday, I noticed a large vein in the white part of his eye. It is bright red and much larger than the other veins around it. Does anyone know what this might be? I've done some searching on the web, but I haven't found anything, which makes me think I'm worrying for no reason. He has an appointment for shots next week, and I'll ask the Vet when we go, but I didn't want to wait that long if it could be something serious. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Cheryl

I don't know if you made it to the vet yet or not, and just read your message. How did you make out? I'm not familiar with that condition.
