Good Morning!!

His name is Moose. He is such a wonderful dog. He is 2 1/2 years old. He came to live with us about 1 month ago. He has got such a wonderful temperment. Sometimes I think he thinks that he is a "little dog". He jumps around when he gets excited and twists himself back and forth. He was a blessing for my son and I. Our dog left us within days of getting Moose. He was very old and tired. I would love to see pics of your dogs!!

Am I correct in assuming Moose was a rescue? I am so glad you have him, enjoy as they can be big clowns.

He is precious...
What a face..

He was kind of a rescue, I guess.
I work at a vet clinic and his old owners were clients there. His mommy and daddy could no longer keep him. They started looking for a home and I met him and fell in love with him. They brought him over a few times to make sure that he felt comfortable as well as them. My son and I are so blessed. He is the perfect dog. And if there would ever be a shortage of "drool" Moose will save the day LOL

Great photos of your boy. I am so glad to hear that you could make this boy a part of your family. He looks like he is a pretty tall boy and has such an expressive face. Just out of curiousity do you know what kennel he is from or who his breeder was?

Well the peanut was huge!!!!! <g> Being he was a solo puppy he was just shy of 2 lbs when he was born. Purl did not think he was so cute right then. But within a few minutes she was acting like a good mommy

Moose is a very handsome boy! Congrats to you and your son on your new family member. I am sorry to hear that your old one has gone to "Rainbow Bridge". It would be nice to know which kennel he came from. He looks like he's of fine quality. Is there any way you could ask the owners? No real reason, just curious to see if any of ours share the same blood lines.

You have come to the right place to share your new friend and to get answers to your questions. Val, whom you have already met is a wonderful source for information. Take advantage of her experience and knowledge! I have met Val and the DDBs and I can attest to her knowledge and ability to handle her dogs responsibly. Not to mention that she is loving and her dogs show it!

I also have a DDB, Cosette, or Cosie. She's a rescue. I don't have any current pictures of her, but we're going to get some online soon! She's such a wonderful girl, we were blessed to find her and to be able to include her in our family.
