Chihuahua

Hi, I've wanted a pit bull for a really long time now, and now that we might move, I might finally get the chance to adopt one from this great rescue nearby. The only problem is that my mom has a dog aggressive chihuahua. This guy is only like 6 pounds, but he's got guts and I'm not sure what his reaction would be to a larger male pit bull. And the pit I want to adopt is a male. It's really good with other male dogs, and I've seen its reaction to small yappy dogs...He ignored them. Would this work out? Thanks.

I really don't think so. Smarll dogs often have "large dog" attitudes and pit types are, in general, dog aggressive. The chi, if the pit got annoyed or showed typical behavior, would be toast.
