Teething Pups

Hi to Gigi and other moms with teething "children". My Joe is 61/2 mos now and he is still teething. It seems ever since we aquired him (at 8 wks.) that he has been teething. His baby canines had to be removed, they just wouldn't come out. He has 2 more baby teeth that need to come out. He is mouthy also, and chews on our fingers (never hard) but looking at his gums where the 2 teeth are trying to come in, they are very swollen and sore appearring. I rum his gums, and give him small pieces of ice to chew. He likes that. I make him gumma bones cold and try to recall what I did for my child when she was teething. I would think as with human babies, our canine babies all teeth at different stages, and react differently. Good luck in helping your baby.Yorkiemom

I will definitely try that – “keeping her gumma bone cold” Just two days ago, one of her k9 tooth fell out. She still has one on the right side of her mouth.

Thanks for the tip.
