Loving your pets

breakfastatme Jun 27, 2003 09:11 AM

My mother bought me a yorkie for my 18th Bday. That dog went EVERYWHERE with me. Work, shopping, biking. That dog was my whole world. He was spoiled and he was loved. When I had my son 5 years later he was such a good dog and would sleep under Evan's crib. He was really a part of the family.
But I can't even compare it to the way we are with Moose, It's weird almost. My son and I both adore him and we both love to spoil him. We have only had him for 5 weeks and I don't know what we did without him. My son and I have never been happier. He was like an angel sent from Heaven. I am an animal lover, furry, scaly, feathered, you name it. But the way my son and I feel about Moose is weird. I used to see people that would treat there pets better then other people and think it was weird. Not any more, Animals have a unique way of sharing and loving and teaching.
My son and I are very blessed.

Tiff,

Sounds like you have found what we like to refer to as, "your heart dog". It's kind of like the human equivalent to a "soul mate".

I'm glad you and your son have Moose to share your lives with. It sounds as though he's enjoying you as much as you're enjoying him. He seems like a great "fur kid"!

Please keep us posted.
